What we Do

We are the main community venue for the residents of Turvey and surrounding villages.

Turvey Village Hall provides rooms and equipment available to hire for events and parties.

We Offer the following:

 

  • Large main room
  • Raised stage facility
  • Private meeting room
  • Fully functional kitchen
  • Integrated sound system
  • Male, female & disabled toilets
  • Tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery & glasses all available for separate hire.

Theatre

Turvey Amateur Theatrical Society (TATS)

Set up in 1979, TATS, is known locally as the professional but friendly amateur theatre group. They have now presented over 120 productions in the village hall in just about every genre you could think of.
Exhibitions & Sales

Clubs & Groups

Several societies host their exhibitions and sales at the village hall, pictured are Turvey Bloomers with one of their locally famous plant sales and one of a number of tea &  cake sales we host during the year.
Parties & Special Events

Various

Wedding receptions, anniversaries, get togethers – we’ve hosted them all. Seen here is Turvey’s Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebration in 2012
Bowls

Turvey Bowls Club

Winners of several championships and cups and host to may regional competitions, Turvey Bowls club meet weekly during the season to strut their stuff.

Private Individuals & Groups

Close the curtains, turn off the lights, switch up the volume and boogie the night away…. or if you prefer, get your cowboy gear out and 5,6,7,8!
